Songs never before heard
This ongoing sequence began in 2018, and each work stems from the poetry of Catullus and Horace, as well as the academic writing about them by my father, Professor A J Woodman.
They are all small watercolour and gouache paintings on paper, and have formed the basis of my thinking for this application. They are presented here with the translations which inspired them.
